Art Worker / Designer
 We are looking to recruit an experienced Art Worker / Designer to work in our busy design studio. Ideal candidates will be required to interpret customers’ briefs, source appropriate art work and produce strong commercial design concepts through to finished art work of a high standard.The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the fashion/ retail sector or within a creative design agency with a blue chip retail client list. You will be passionate about your work, enthusiastic, innovative and highly creative, and have a keen eye for current trends in the fashion/retail world.The role will be varied and challenging; you will be liaising with external design agencies and working to tight deadlines. You will need to have a good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 5 or equivalent, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. This role offers an attractive salary and excellent company benefits.

Designer – Household textiles

Salary circa £30k - £35
Based N.W.London

A London based household textile company is seeking a Senior Textile Designer. The designer will be responsible for meeting with major clients and working on development of full product specifications including layout and make-up, using suppliers’ assistance as appropriate and designing to a price point. Their role will be to work as part of an enthusiastic team to ensure high levels of creative output. They will need to be independent with a good eye for detail and have experience in textile print and woven techniques for bulk. The designer will be supported by the Design Director and Design Administrator and will need to manage the Junior Designers on a daily basis.
Candidates should have good experience in the textile industry or related field and be able to demonstrate proven experience in development of design and production; textile or print proofing and quality control; an understanding of production techniques in this industry and an appreciation of marketing including pricing. Excellent communication skills in an advisory or selling role are also required. In addition to base salary, the role carries first-class benefits.
