Home CAD Designer
The Purpose
Reporting to the Studio Manager the successful candidate will design and manipulate Wallart for our Home business that are commercially viable across our global markets in response to specific design & colour brief.
To manipulate, re-size & re-colour existing artworks on CAD
To produce CAD artwork within the time allocated by the brief & in line with the critical path
Image searches & uploading and collating of imagery to brief
Mock up and creation of graphics, packaging & roomsets
Create story/mood boards for all new collections to show brand development & design/colour direction
To produce original artworks from design concept / mood boards.
Presentations will be the norm, as is some travelling.
The Person
PC literacy and knowledge of Adobe photoshop , Illustrator & AVA software is essential for this role
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent drawing skills.
You will have an acute sense of colour, the ability to mix and balance colours.
The candidate will be self-motivated, detailed, creative and passionate about their work.
Team worker but also ability to work alone
They will have the ability to communicate ideas and design concepts to broader groups across the business
You will possess the ability to develop ideas and produce creative solutions.
The Conditions
The salary is circa £21K to £26K dependent upon experience
The working hours are 40 hours per week over Monday to Friday. This role is covered by Flexi-time.
